Lily slapped her forehead with the hand holding her phone. “Darn it, I forgot! Yeah, I’m coming! I need to get Mitch a babysitter and find something to wear, but of course I’m coming! I’ve missed everyone so much.” She hadn’t so much as seen a glimpse of most of the Starkids for months.

“Alright! Would you like me to come pick you up then when you’re ready?” Devin asked her.

“Yes please! We’ve got catching up to do, girl.” She laughed and headed for Mitch’s room, putting him down in his crib with a smile. “Now, what do I wear?” She shut the door to Mitch’s room and walked into her own bedroom.

“I dunno, I’m just wearing a dress because I really didn’t know if there was a dress code or not. But still, you never know when you might run in to a cute boy,: Devin said with a smile as she exited her apartment.

Devin removed one of her cats from the back of her closet where her heels lay and picked up the black shoes. She slipped them on then picked uo her phone and called Lily. she wasn’t sure if she was going to the bar with everyone tonight or if she needed a ride. Devin patiently waited for her to pick up as she dished up food for her cats.

Lily picked up the phone, trying not to scream with excitement. “Hey Devs,” she answered with a grin, staring out the front window of her apartment with Mitchell on her hip. “What’s up?”

“Hi Lily! I was uh, just wondering if you were going out with everyone tonight? I’d hate not to see you there!” She said with a smile. It was true. everyone was just becoming so busy lately that they’d hardly had tim eto talk to each other.
